The service log

Our red sticker on the door keeps the service log.

The furnace we installed on February 12, 2024 carries our red-and-white sticker: phone number, email, and a ruled table for the date and the work done, with room for every visit after it. The next tech, or you, can read the history of that system at a glance.

2013
Washington HVAC/R contractor licence issued to CP Mechanical LLC. Still active.
Electrical
Also a licensed electrical contractor, so panel and wiring work stays with the same office.

On a service call

What a tech reads on an outdoor unit before touching a tool.

One of our own maintenance calls, photographed before the clean. Every mark is something the visit checks.

A grey condenser with both coil faces matted brown with cottonwood, a cordless drill resting on the fan guard, cedar fence and lawn behind

Coil clean

Same unit, same afternoon: before, during, after.

Yakima summers load condenser coils with cottonwood and dust. Seasonal maintenance covers air filter replacement, evaporator and condenser coil cleaning, refrigerant pressure checks, electrical inspection, blower and fan checks and thermostat calibration.

  1. Before: the condenser's coil faces matted brown with cottonwood, a drill on the fan guard

    BeforeFins buried, airflow choked.

  2. During: the fan and grille lifted off, the coil wet and half cleaned

    DuringFan lifted, coil cleaned.

  3. After: the coil fins clear and grey again, the fan motor still lifted for the last checks

    AfterClear fins, ready to reassemble.

Electrical

The panel behind the furnace is on our licence too.

CP Mechanical is a licensed electrical contractor for homes, offices, warehouses and industrial properties. Code-compliant work, from a new dedicated circuit for a heat pump to a full panel upgrade.
